Introduction: Proprioceptive Exercise & the Bioplasmic Body

The light body is an energy matrix that exists within and beyond the space of the physical form. It is an aspect of the body that has particular functions and components, just like the respiratory or reproductive system. And right now it is maturing at an exponential rate in many people. If you are interested enough to listen to this podcast, you are one of them.

Identifying the light body as an evolving part of the human physiology is a quantum step in understanding. And detailing specific, replicable and safe processes to connect to and operate it is a key to vibrant living on this plane. In this podcast we will not only explore the light body intellectually, we will actually do exercises to activate a direct interface with this part of your growing self. Learning to sensitize and regulate the light body is vital to maintaining balance and strength in daily life, and is one of the most effective ways to generate personal and planetary health.

In this episode, we are going to go further into the meditative activity called proprioceptive exercise. This involves a specific type of movement and focus that activates the proprioceptive system. This is a part of your nervous system that maintains alignment through the activity of specialized nerve fibers in the tendons and muscles. This heightens a proprioceptive awareness and increases your body’s natural ability to align and regulate itself. Sensations become amplified as sensitivity to small degrees of physical experience is heightened.

These exercises are not what you might think of as typical workout exercises, although they do develop strength, flexibility and vitality. They are are keys that open vibrational doorways, allowing you to enter different dimensions of experience in a grounded and safe way. You will notice sensations that formerly did not register consciously. Your perception will shift to a cellular or microcosmic dimension where space and time have very different qualities.

Once this process is started we will bring our focus to the space around the physical body, which I will refer to as the outerbody or the bioplasmic body. This functions as a semi-permeable, selective membrane. Unlike the cell membranes, which are regulated by unconsciously, the outerbody membrane can be regulated consciously. We will explore some of the characteristics of this developing system and interface directly with its different layers.

Find a quiet space to sit, on the floor or a chair, and make yourself comfortable. Have a notebook and pen nearby in case you want to take notes. I will be guiding you through a series of breathing, awareness and movement sequences that all increase proprioceptive activity. This is the key to learning how to connect to and work with your developing light body and its many components, like the outerbody layers and the chakras and the kundalini channels.

As we move through the process, I will be stressing a few key points. These are simple, unique mechanisms that activate proprioceptive nerve activity. I will repeat them several times, so don’t worry about remembering them all now. Here they are:

  1. Breathe as quietly as is comfortable. Guide the breath along the back of your nasal passages. This type of breathing stimulates the part of your nervous system that governs the relaxation response (the opposite of the fight/flight response).

  2. When we move, we will do so slowly while invoking a sensation of floating.

  3. If you can’t do a position, choose another one that works for you. Make adjustments. It is important that you are comfortable. We will be moving through a series of positions.

  4. It’s not important what position you are in or how far you go. This is not yoga. This is not stretching. Those things are great, but this is different.

  5. We will be encouraging the body to be more elastic. This is key to releasing life force that has become trapped and restricted.

  6. We will use our attention as a tool to direct energy. Keep gently guiding your attention to sensations in your body, rather than emotions or thoughts.

Try to approach this experience with Beginner’s Mind. Let go of preconceived notions and expectations as much as you can. Let yourself experience it as directly as possible. And there is no need to force anything; if you feel stressed or frustrated or bored then get up and move around a little bit and try again. Ok, let’s begin another proprioceptive journey, directing awareness into our inner landscape in order to expand the frequency of the body and gain access to expanded dimensions of experience

Proprioceptive awareness can be used to create alignment in space and time not just physically, but also emotionally, mentally, psychologically, and spiritually. It becomes easier to discern true life direction from the integrated dimension of the soul.
