Being immersed in a vibrant stream of creative energy is a deeply satisfying experience. Every moment we have the opportunity to enter into this continuum of creation, but sometimes we’re stuck in restrictive patterns that prevent us from connecting with our life force, our life source. Today we’ll explore an extremely effective way to free your body and and unleash your creative power. If you feel at a standstill with a creative endeavor or a project, this will really get things moving. Plus, it feels great and is great for your health.
In this episode we will be doing freeform proprioceptive exercise. It’s a unique method to unwind compression, release stress and free previously trapped energy to course through your body and energy field. So far we’ve worked with proprioceptive exercise in a structured way, where you go through one type of movement at a time in a sequential manner. We’ve also done some proprioceptive work where you introduced variations of positioning and practiced listening to your body’s inner guidance as it directed your movements. Today, you will be going into full freeform proprioceptive exercise. Your proprioceptive awareness will lead you through unique templates of movement designed specifically by and for you, dictated from your own body’s innate wisdom.
Yoga, tai chi and other traditional self-development practices were created to stimulate flows of energy in order to connect with forces within and beyond the body. They were developed at certain time periods amidst certain cultural and planetary conditions. And although they contain great power and can generate strength and alignment, it could be that they’re not optimally designed for all of our present needs. It could be that our bodies need to also experience positions which we have perhaps never seen or felt before in order to enter into new realms of freedom. These positions may be asymmetrical and unusual and not considered ‘correct’ if looked at from the perspective of traditional postures or forms. Also, you may find yourself holding strength positions that normally feel difficult; as restrictions in your body release, previously trapped energy flows through your muscles, organs and glands, making you stronger. Instead of the strength positions feeling hard, they will feel incredibly satisfying, and during them your strength will gather rather than dissipate.
We can go through any type of freeform movement and have it be an enjoyable and valuable experience. The unique thing here is that we will be utilizing our knowledge of proprioception and use that to guide the process. Activating proprioceptive awareness allows us to tap into the power of our inner guidance system, our inner positioning system, to lead our body through a personally choreographed sequence that unwinds our personal story from the tissues of our body. Using the tools of slow motion movement, attention to sensation, and encouragement of elasticity are the key factors that activate proprioception.
It may take a bit of practice for you to allow yourself to decouple from expected patterns of movement and let the inner directive of your body lead the way. But it’s worth your time to try this out. Why do we exercise in the first place? Why do we meditate? Why do we read self-help books and take courses? So that we can feel better and enjoy life more! Freeform proprioceptive exercise will generate more energy in your body and unleash your creative power; it generates transformation from the inside out. Be prepared to feel a surge of empowerment and clear purpose as your very cells come into more alignment with the present moment and all that it is always offering.

Even a few minutes can work wonders. Afterwards, feel into your body in order to amplify the alignments taking place between your personality and your soul vibration. Your developing light body is running in the background all the time, like a wise and loving companion that’s always available to you, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to consciously integrate it into your daily life. You can do any of the processes from these podcast episodes on your own whenever you want to relax, increase flexibility and strength, generate energy, connect with your higher self, contact other fields of consciousness or accelerate personal development. Notice when thoughts about it pop into your head - this can be a signal that it’s a fruitful time to sit someplace quietly for a few minutes and tune into yourself. I don’t think there’s anything more valuable you could do with your time than bring yourself into more alignment and balance before engaging in regular activities. The most potent contribution you could make to our evolving world is the gift of an empowered you, brimming with exuberant awareness and vitality.
