TRANSCRIPT OF EPISODE

The natural world is composed of different types of forces, or elements, like water, air and fire. Each one is a field of consciousness that permeates not only our earth plane, but also extends out into solar and galactic dimensions of activity. These elemental forces express themselves in our bodies in the form of energetic components like chakras and meridians, as well as the more dense layers of tissues, organs and glands. You can use specific movements to invoke the energy of the elements in your body and enter into a vast array of opportunities for healing, learning and entertainment.

We will activate these elemental powers by expanding our frequency, opening the outerbody membranes and doing specific motions that call each element into closer contact within our field. The natural elements that we will work with are earth, water, fire, air and ether. Different traditions have their own interpretation of these elements and how they manifest in the human body. There are variations because each person, culture and time period flavors the expression of these dynamic energies, but each carries an unmistakable identity.

I will lead you through a simple movement for each element in order to ‘call’ or invoke its activity in the body. The more that you can relax and feel into sensations in your body, the more easily you will be able to contact each element and welcome it to circulate through your system. Then the element itself can directly inform you about itself - what its characteristics are, how it functions and how it can enrich and enliven your life.

Like every other topic I discuss in this podcast, the words I use are a way to enter into a direct interface with aspects of your developing light body. Rather than get too attached to concepts that I’m talking about or trying to figure it all out intellectually, I suggest that you use these words as a loose framework to guide you into an expanded experience of yourself. Putting the bulk of your attention on sensations in and around your body is a great way to do that. It will help you bypass our human tendency to mentally assess and arrange incoming information, and instead support you to in-form new possibilities of creation.

On that note, let’s get started. Find a place to sit quietly, on the floor or in a chair. Set yourself up so that you’re as comfortable as possible. Give yourself the gift of turning off your phone (or putting it in airplane mode) so that you can hear your body and environment around you without distraction. It would be great if you can do this process outside or on a porch or near an open window so that you’re close to the sensory experience of nature. If that’s not possible, no problem. We’ll be using simple, specific movements to directly connect to elements of the natural world whether or not you are physically close to them. Ok, here we go….

[GUIDED PROCESS]

In Conclusion

Here’s an excerpt about the element exercises from Saul Goodman’s Light Body Activation book:

“These techniques can be used for relaxation and to calm the mind and emotions. They can be done before, after or during most other types of exercises, meditation or contemplation and can be briefly practiced at any time during the day. They synchronize the body and brain frequencies and are therefore good for inducing a creative, awakened state. You can also experiment by combining one or all of these motions with the expansion of the outerbody and the chakra exercises. Sometimes, start with expanding the outerbody first and then do the element motions. Alternate the order according to what you feel is right at the time. On many occasions, you will notice that the improvised sequence seems to be orchestrated from somewhere else. Even though they appear to be spontaneous at first, the order which unfolds takes you deeper into the sensations and eventually contact.

Remember - Notice what you notice and avoid struggling to find something else. What you notice always has plenty to offer. Let it be without trying to figure it out. Trust what you understand and allow yourself time (days, months, or even longer) to confirm it. Usually, without specific premeditated action, the effects and benefits of a contact will work itself down into the life you already have. Like a puzzle, over time, the pieces fall into place and the picture becomes clear.”

Your developing light body is running in the background all the time, like a wise and loving companion that’s always available to you, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to consciously integrate it into your daily life. You can do any of the processes from these podcast episodes on your own whenever you want to relax, increase flexibility and strength, generate energy, connect with your higher self, contact other fields of consciousness or accelerate personal development. Notice when thoughts about it pop into your head - this can be a signal that it’s a fruitful time to sit someplace quietly for a few minutes and tune into yourself. I don’t think there’s anything more valuable you could do with your time than bring yourself into more alignment and balance before engaging in regular activities. The most potent contribution you could make to our evolving world is the gift of an empowered you, brimming with exuberant awareness and vitality.
