Governing Vessel: Primitive & Specialized Expressions in the Body
Traditional shiatsu acknowledges the presence of the meridian Governing Vessel, but does not focus on using it for diagnosis and treatment. Shin Tai bodywork instead makes governing vessel a central part of both the evaluation and treatment. Governing vessel is worked with as a meridian and also as a more primitive expression in the body.
